Check out this interview with Canadian born/London based artist Andrew Salgado at Yatzer. Salgado’s paintings are highly deconstructive – both on a technical and emotional level. His choice of colour combos always stick in my mind – they’re almost synaesthetic. His latest exhibition is at the Dosi Gallery in Korea (20 July /18 August 2012, 202-­2 Kwangan 2 dong, Suyoung-­gu, Busan, Korea). Columbian street art legend Stinkfish, famed for his ginormous psychedelic murals of local faces is exhibiting in a group show opening August 11 to September 1st at “Primeval” Culver City, CA’s Carmichael Gallery. Also featuring work by graffiti artist Emol from Diadema City, Brazil, and California muralist/streetwear designer Zio Ziegler.
